Never Be Aimless.

In our generation, the concept in which we coined “motion” has become the new standard for success. In a nutshell ‘motion’ is essentially having your ‘sh** together’ & developing a great social influence/ network. Most of all ‘motion’ is associated with having an influx or a large sum of money. Integrate social media into the mix and now everyone wants to be seen moving; Whether that be posting vain accomplishments, flexing money, or within what appears to be exclusive circles, etc, etc. What people get misconstrued however, is that motion does not equate to progress. Just because you’re making money, does not mean you are making progress: Getting closer to your objectives, goals, desires.. You can spin your wheels at 100 miles an hour and still be stuck in the same location. Without direction, focus, and a defined purpose, all that energy is wasted in appearances rather than advancement.
There’s a big difference between a man who multiplies money and a man who multiplies meaning. By GOD’s grace, I have experienced what it feels like to make progress, while also making money at the same time. This is the sweet spot that we should always strategically— and hopefully overtime subconsciously— aim for.
The problem is most people chase ‘motion’ just to feel alive. They want to feel “productive,” yet end up looping through the same patterns—working, earning, spending, resetting. It’s the delusion of progress. Some guys get a bag just to flip it and get another, continuing a small scale cycle. They mistake constant activity for growth. Much like a hamster wheel; you can be in ‘motion’, yes, but you are still in the same place. You’ve made no progress. You are the same distance away from your ideal. So, stop at once, allowing and entertaining thoughts of situations that you do not desire! How can one discover and remain on the road to victory, if they allow nothing but distractions and negative thought patterns to dwell in their minds??
This is why you must pause and reflect. Not to stop your grind, but to question it; “ Is this energy leading me closer to my ideal or simply keeping me busy?”
Because being busy is easy; being intentional is rare.
In my experience, the only way to combat this atrocious plateau of stagnation from rearing its ugly head is to trample down or “Subdue” limiting thoughts and to maintain laser focus on your objective’s fulfillment. For, the battle begins and ends in the mind. If your thoughts are scattered and undisciplined, your life will follow suit. You must trample every whisper of complacency that attempts to infiltrate your focus. The mind is a tool, not your master. Guard it, sharpen it, and align it with your mission. Be vigilant about what you allow to take root there, because your thoughts dictate the color and shape of your world.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”- Proverbs 23:7 KJV
So the message is simple: silence the noise and center your will. Pivot if necessary, readjust your course, but never surrender to idleness—mental or physical. Keep your aim etched in your consciousness like Scripture. The mind attracts what it magnifies. Therefore, my philosophy is quite simple, if my mind attracts what I dwell upon; if I think only of Greatness, opportunities, & challenges to conquer myself, then that’s what —by sheer process of elimination — likely to appear in my reality in some way, shape, or form. So please follow suit: Think of progress, not just motion. Because motion without purpose is movement without meaning—and a man without meaning is going nowhere fast.
Having motion is not as satisfying as making progress!
