Halftime: Keep Moving Forward!

We’ve now reached the halfway point of the year. June 1st. A full six months into 2026.

Are you any closer to the goals, objectives, and resolutions you made when this year first began? Have you been giving your best? Your all? Or have you merely been coasting—drifting, chillin, existing?

There is a fine line between patience and passivity.

Do you honestly believe that you, of all people, have the luxury of idly allowing time to pass while delaying the process of becoming the greatest version of yourself?

You will be dead far longer than you will be alive. Live intentionally, but live presently as well. Don’t spend so much time strategizing and analyzing everything and everyone that you fail to recognize how much time has already elapsed.

We like to say that tomorrow isn’t promised, but today isn’t promised either. Six months ago, three months ago, last week, yesterday, and even two minutes ago all belong to death. All you truly have is this present moment.

Be great right now.

Remember: most of the people, places, and circumstances you encounter are transient. They are ALL temporary and have the freedom to change if or whenever they so choose. You can control nothing nor anyone but yourself. The only way to maintain your inner equilibrium and keep your sanity in this cruel world is to adopt a mindset of radical acceptance.

In layman’s terms: Keep moving forward, gang.

Twenty-two becomes thirty-two much faster than you think.

“You can be great today, but instead you choose tomorrow.” — Marcus Aurelius

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”-‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
